| SL was founded in
September 2001 as a subsidiary of Ambassador Group, a major
property investor and developer. The parent company is running
large-scale investment projects in several countries. The
company was divided into four divisions: new investments,
finances, implementation and marketing.
The firs SL development project was the Récsei Center, which
entailed the purchase of the Récsei bus-garage and its subsequent
transformation into a shoppingcentre. The reconstruction was
implemented with utmost care to retain the original characteristics
of the listed monument and the construction completed at 2004.
In the beginning of 2005 SL launched its next project in the
immediate neighborhood of the Récsei shopping and entertainment
center and started building István Park. The traditional name
derives from the ancient name of the area: Istvánmező is one
of the quarters, or rather the gateway, of Zugló, Budapest's
fourteenth district.
Since then, our company has purchased properties in several
Budapest districts, where we are planning to develop residential
buildings and housing estates. We are also planning to undertake
investment projects in the countryside as well. Budapest,
due to its favorable geographical position, is the ideal choice
for our headquarters where we can run our business in Slovakia,
Ukraine, Romania and Bulgaria too.
